Coaches Postgame Comments:
"I’m proud of this group of players and our program. We made it back to playoffs and got to experience the postseason atmosphere — it’s a big deal and something I don’t take for granted. That being said, I know I have to do a better job making sure our team is fully prepared to reach the postseason and compete at the highest level once we’re there."
"I want to thank our coaching staff — they did an outstanding job this season. I’m grateful for their dedication, and I know we are committed to leveling up for next year and beyond. The standard is high, and we will keep building the right way."
"I also want to take a moment to thank our six seniors who suited up for the last time. We’re proud of them and excited to see what’s next for each of them."

In preparing notes for today's Senior Day, Elijah Gutierrez stated his favorite High School baseball memory had been a walk off hit in Game 1 of the 2024 season. In his last at bat at home as a Bulldog he changed that to a 3 run HR vs West to shutdown the 2025 regular season and defeat West.
It would be a festive day at the yard well before that celebration at home plate as the large late- season roster of infused youth combined with six Seniors were in a great mood and were being entertained by DJ Suga Shane.
Jace Johnson had another masterful day collecting 10 strikeouts in his 5 innings of work allowing only 1 hit.
Offensively the Bulldogs struck in the bottom of the 1st as Brady Brown and Dylan Giannini singled. Ryan Torres would hit a Sac Fly to score Brown.
In the 3rd, Josh Giuliacci worked a walk, Brown singled again and Giuliacci would score on another Giannini hit. Torres would then hit another Sac Fly to center to score Brown (3-0)
In the 4th, Leland Freitas hit a double and would later score on a Giuliacci single to center to put Tracy up 4-0.
In the 5th, Giannini opened with his 3rd single of the day. Torres singled, and then Godoy tripled to score the pinch runner Jordan Alvarado. The Dogs would add another run when Giannini scored on a wild pitch. Jacoby Freitas then hit a Sac Fly to score Freitas. Gutierrez would get hit by a pitch and eventually score on a West error. (8-0)
Dylan Giannini got a chance to pitch in relief and the Wolf Pack would score two runs in the 6th due to some Tracy errors.
Tracy would put an end to the game in the bottom of the 6th when Giuliacci would work another walk. Giannini singled for his 4th hit of the day to score Josh. Torres would then double for his 2nd hit of the day. Godoy would walk and then Josh Verduzco would pinch hit and come up big with a 2 RBI single to score Giannini and Torres. The game would then end with the Gutierrez bomb to left field scoring Godoy and Verduzco.
Coaches Postgame Comments:
"Its always good to get a win and especially a bounce back win after the loss yesterday," said Coach Mac. "I thought we pitched well and got the hits we needed."
"I know it has been an interesting year for this baseball program as change occurred. When something new starts, something old has to fully end. This group stuck with the program and the process that was implemented this year. I'm proud of our six seniors and all the hard work they have put into the season. I wish them nothing but the best. They have some big plans in their future."
"I really believe in respect and today I think we showed respect to our Seniors."
The Bulldogs now await their postseason fate as the playoff brackets are released after 3 p.m. Saturday.
