"We had contributions up and down the lineup, which is what we want to see."

    Coach DeHaro Comments:

"It was a tough one for us today. I actually liked the way our guys competed early we took the lead and battled back to tie it, which shows some fight.  But we put ourselves in too many tough spots with 14 walks, and against a  good team that’s going to catch up to you."

"We’ve got  to do a better job attacking the zone on the mound and playing cleaner baseball behind it."

"Offensively we had some good moments. Brayden Ibarra had a big RBI hit and Noah Richardson gave us a quality at-bat with the  Sac Fly."

The JV Dogs found themselves down early at Pitman Wednesday, but they kept generating runs across the plate throughout the game and the pitching and defense tightened up and kept the Pride scoreless for all of the 6 remaining innings to gain an impressive 11-5 victory.  The win keeps these Dogs perfect at 6-0.

      Coaches Postgame Comments:

"We immediately took the lead in this game, but gave it up when Pitman had a big bottom of the 1st," said Coach DeHaro.  "I'm proud of how we stayed composed and battled back."

"Jaiden Perez had a big day going 3 for 3 and he also did a great job executing two safety squeezes.  Tino did a great job competing well on the mound and kept battling for us.  Nolan came in and did solid work shutting the door."

"We were aggressive on the bases, but we made some base running mistakes that we will need to clean up.  Overall though, we did a fantastic job and our guys kept competing."

"Our guys did a great job tonight handling business against Tokay," said a very satisfied Coach Deharo.  "Brock Montgomery was strong on the mound, giving us four scoreless innings,  and we played clean defense behind him."

"Offensively, we did a great job getting some quality bunts down early in the game and we stayed  disciplined with nine walks and were aggressive on the bases."

        Coaches Postgame Comments:

"Noah Richardson had a big day for us driving in runs, commanding the zone on the mound, and competing every pitch. That’s the kind of all-around performance we expect from our leaders."

"What stood out to me the most was our discipline. Eleven walks and fourteen stolen bases tells  you we were aggressive but under control. We’re putting pressure on defenses, and that’s tough to defend."

"On the mound Noah did a great job attacking the strike zone. Four scoreless innings, no free  passes — that’s how we want to compete!"

The JV Dogs had a nice home debut producing 11 hits and 9 runs vs the Lancers.  Noah Richardson would have a 3-4 day with 2RBIs and 2 doubles.  Brock Montgomery was 2-3 with 2RBIs and a double.  Jaiden Perez was 2-3 with 2 runs scored.  Gavin Avila had a double.  Isaiah McIntyre had two stolen bases, went 2-4 and generated 3 RBIs.

Montgomery would start the game on the mound and went the first four innings allowing on ly 2 hits and 2 earned runs while striking out four.  Tino Contreras came in for the final 3 innings and only allowed 2 hits and one run.

          Coaches Postgame Press Conference:

"I was very proud of how we played tonight," said Coach Adam Deharo.  "East Union jumped on us early, but I liked the way we responded right away in the bottom half. We didn’t panic, we stayed composed, and we answered with quality at-bats."

"Offensively, we did a great job putting pressure on them. Eleven hits, seven stolen bases — that’s aggressive baseball. Isaiah McIntyre had a big night driving in three and setting the tone, and Noah Richardson gave us great quality at-bats all game. When we’re getting production up and down the  lineup like that, we’re going to be tough to beat."

"On the mound, Brock Montgomery competed. He worked through some traffic and kept us in control of the game. Tino Contreras came in and did his job in relief. We turned a double play defensively, which was big to get us out of the inning, but we also gave up too many free bases and let them run on us. That’s something we’ll clean up."

"Overall, it was a solid team win. We’ll enjoy this one tonight and get ready for tomorrow against Mountain House."

"I'm really proud of our guys tonight," said Coach Adam DeHaro.  "From the first inning on, we came out locked in and played Tracy Bulldogs baseball. Noah did a great job setting the tone early attacking the zone and competing every pitch."

"Offensively, it was a total team effort. We had 12 hits, quality at-bats up and down the lineup, and aggressive base running. When we’re putting pressure on teams with six stolen bases and moving runners the right way, we’re tough to beat."

"I Love seeing multiple guys with multi-hit games and RBIs spread out — that shows we’re playing for each other."

"Our bullpen did their job, throwing up zeros and keeping momentum on our side. Defensively, we stayed sharp and didn’t give them any extra opportunities."

Our Tracy JV Bulldogs remain perfect (5-0) with a 10-0 five inning victory at Patterson on Friday afternoon.  Lane Wortham threw the entire 5 innings allowing no runs, 3 hits, and striking out 6 Tigers.

Aiden Avitia led the offense with a 2-2 day, collecting a double and 2 runs scored.   Isaiah McIntyre had 4 stolen bases to propel the Bulldogs.

"Lane Wortham had great command on the mound today," said Coach Adam Deharo on Friday night. "Lane set the tone on the mound with five shutout innings and no walks.  He was attacking the zone all day in his 61 pitches of which 43 were for strikes."

"Defensively, we played clean baseball with no errors.  Offensively, we were disciplined and aggressive. We would work eight walks, seven stolen bases, and generate a big fifth inning. We had contributions up and down the lineup today.  It was a good team win."

The JV Dogs will now travel to Pitman on Wednesday, play at home vs Skyline on Friday and home Saturday vs Amador Valley.
