Coaches Comments:
"Jace Haley had his best start of the season going 5 2/3 innings and only allowing 2 hits and striking out 10. Eli Juran did well finishing up the final 1 1/3 innings and only throwing 16 pitches."
"Haley also was dominant at the plate going 3-3 with a double, RBI, and run scored. We also had 3 other hits between Leland and Jacoby Freitas, Marc Anzo, and Elijah Loretto. I like the way Anzo has been playing in the DH spot. I think he is really ready for league play."
Defensively, Coach Deharo complimented Jules McGaughran play at third base. "He gave great effort on a couple of plays in foul territory."
"I'm excited to see us enter into league play on Monday at home."

The JV had the rare opportunity to play their game on the Varsity diamond Tuesday and they were having fun and feeling pretty comfortable leading 3-2 with Logan Palladino on the mound. Things unraveled though in the top of the 4th as Livermore would put six runs on the board and take a 8-3 lead. With only 1 Bulldog hit throughout most of the game, the ability to mount a comeback was a challenge. The Livermore defense helped some with 5 errors and eventually Tracy made it close with numerous baserunners and 3 more runs in the 7th, but they ultimately ran out of gas.
"We played a good Livermore team who can swing the bats," said Coach Adam Deharo. "I thought Logan Palladino looked good on the mound but he was up against an aggressive hitting team. Ultimately they out hit us 11-2 and we gave them a couple of extra outs in that tough 4th inning."
"One thing that motivated me was the fight we had in that final inning and we put the pressure on them," said a satisfied Deharo.
"I'm excited to play at Kimball tomorrow and my starter is going to be Jace Haley. The last time we played the Jaguars we reached a 10-10 tie."

Colby Dorn had a big day at the plate going 3-3 with an RBI and 2 runs scored and Logan Palladino provided 6 innings of just 4 hit ball and 7 strikeouts en-route to a 6-2 victory on Saturday afternoon.

Game Summary: In Tracy’s 10-3 win over Atwater, Logan Palladino threw four solid innings giving up two runs in his first start of the season. Leland Freitas led the bats with a game leading two hits and three RBIs.
Defensively the Bulldogs were clean, committing no errors. Josh Verduzco came in to close giving up only one hit in two innings pitched.
Coaches Comments:
"We started "LP" today and he was lights out for his first High School pitching start," said an enthusiastic Coach Adam Deharo. "I think he was a bit nervous and his pitch count was high in the first inning, but as things progressed he gained confidence and was dominant only allowing 2 hits."
"Defensively we played very sound and had great outfield play highlighted by Jacoby Freitas in center and a play by Geno Lawhorn in left."
"I'm excited to be around this 2024 JV team, they are a unique and very fun group of young men," said an upbeat Deharo postgame.

"I was pleased with the way we played today even though we took a slim loss," said JV Coach Adam Deharo. I thought Jacoby Freitas pitched well. We just had that 5th inning where things got away from us a bit."
"Going forward we need to string our hits together and get more baserunners and we will be fine. We have an exciting group of players who are fun to be around," said a satisfied Coach.
